CP173 versus CP Huntington:
Engineer rides inside the locomotive — not sitting on top of it.
CP173 Rail Train
Compare the CP Huntington to the CP173 from Arizona Railroad Depot. Ride in the cab — not on the cab. Both the original CP Huntington and the CP173 were locomotives popular on the Central Pacific Railroad in the late 1800s. Pictured above is a half-scale train capable of carrying 120 adult passengers in comfort and safety over long distances. The CP173 can be ordered in 1/4 scale (16" gauge), 1/3 scale (16" gauge) or 1/2 scale (24" gauge).
Audio systems connecting the cab and coaches allow tour guides to communicate with passengers. The audio system also produces authentic train sounds.
